“Surely the Lord wouldn’t have given them a call to missions, and then thrown up a road block at the last minute would He? Where was that full-time service?”

Susie had promised the Lord that she would serve Him anywhere He led. In her mind that meant Africa. But did God have a different plan for her life? Could she be interpreting “full time service” in a way other than the way her Heavenly Father meant it?

As Susie and her husband are led by God from place to place, they are blessed with many miraculous answers to prayer. But Susie is often severely tested. And as her faith continues to sustain her, our own faith grows; and just as Susie did, we wonder, “what is my calling?”

In the end, we finally recognize Susie’s true calling, and we understand that God has a purpose and a calling not just for Susie, but for each one of us.
