Why are the altars so empty?
Where are the Christians to kneel?
God surely waits for petitions
Before He will come down and heal.
Contend for this nation believers!
Get your heart right, whatever the cost!
Let’s get down to business with Jesus!
There is no time to be lost!

Pray to stop Satan’s agenda!
Pray for this world to be free,
Free from demonic confusion,
The way that God longs it should be!
Declare before God and the Heavens
It is time for the righteous to act,
Take ground in the spirit for Jesus!
Claim and refuse to retract!

Who’ll be tenacious in battle?
Who’ll get before God in prayer?
Why are the altars so empty?
Are people too callused to care?
The souls that now hang in the balance
Must be birthed from the Word in travail
So summon the angels from glory.
Pray that the righteous prevail!

Have Christians forgot how to pray?
Jesus, revive this Your Body!
Direct us in all we should say!
If God’s Holy Spirit will lead us,
There is nothing this Church cannot do
So pray and believe this, Beloved,
God has a purpose for you!

Come to the altar, dear brother!
My sister, there’s room here for you.
Pray, side by side with your children,
For God hears the little ones too.
Together, we will make a difference,
As God uses these vessels of clay,
To sweep through this land, clothed in power.
Come to this altar and pray!
